“Expressive Arts is a discipline of helping and healing that uses the arts as its basis for discovery and change.”
For me, art happens purposefully and accidentally. Sometimes the path is specific. Other times it begins with a thought, or random mark on paper that becomes something new.
The subjects and styles I choose are primarily organic in nature and often whimsical. Nature is hugely influential in my work. My artwork sells both nationally and internationally.
How does a child survive not a lack of money but a lack of nurturing? In my award-winning novel “Paint Me A Monster”, Rinnie tells her story—a search for identity, love, and healing.
Teaching is one of my favorite things to do. I’m available for school visits, parent groups, women’s forums, and for those interested in exploring self-expression through creative art.
